Lehenga Choli

Lehenga Choli is considered as one of the most exotic attire that is worn on the wedding occasion. Lehenga choli is a traditional dress and is still in fashion.

At present, lehenga choli is available in every possible fabric (synthetic or non-synthetic fabric) and color combinations.

There is unbelievable amount of variety in silk, net, chiffon, nylon, Linen, Velvet, and Satin, Organza, Crush and cotton (with mirror work) as far as lehenga choli is concerned.

Different varieties of a wedding lehenga choli are the Banarasi Kora tissue lehenga along with crepe sutured choli or blouse gives lehenga choli a sensuous look.

Some of the lehengas are stitched with lace. Then, there is also, lehenga choli that is flared with pleated wispy chiffon drape.

Tissue brocade lehenga choli with embroidered borders are also favorites with today's brides.

The lehengas in tussar and patola silk with paisley and floral motifs are also in vogue. A satin and tulle embellished lehenga in light shade gives the wearer, especially the bride an everlasting appearance.

The chiffon lehenga with a lace and sequin work, fully embroidered lehenga with satin lining, full net lehenga sutured with threads and cords in two shades makes this particular wedding attire and its wearer, a much more attractive and eternal look.

Along with these lehengas, it is the cholis that becomes the major attraction for the people. Choli is often custom tailored (personalized according to a person's choice and obviously measurement). The high neck backless tussar choli can give your dress a chic look.

The embroidered crepe choli with deep neck accentuates the lehenga. Some of the cholis are crystal studded to compliment the lehenga. The style and design of choli compels people to have a look at the entire lehenga choli.

But, the modern style of cholis has a more western look, for instance, some are backless, some with straps and the others in U-shape straps. Some cholis are also available in rectangular shape with heavy sequin and beaded work. Lehenga choli has acquired the class of gala attire.

The tradition of lehenga choli is becoming craze not only in India but also in the western countries. The scope of lehenga choli has undergone a sea change ranging from conventional and embellished Lehenga choli to Sharara and Lacha designed according to Indian customs and traditions.
